Usage & config
Which sign-in methods?
The client supports email sign-up and email sign-in. Whether they are open follows the node admin’s policy. Several devices can be online at once. Signing in again on the same platform kicks the previous session.
What group controls exist?
Groups have an owner and group admins. The owner has the highest authority and can transfer that role. Group admins help manage members and some settings. Settings include join approval, whether new members can see history, whether members may add each other as friends, and mute for everyone or by rule. The owner or an admin can post a group announcement, or copy the current group into a new one to reuse its structure or template.
Can leavers take customers?
No. Only a super admin or admin can start a leave transfer, and they assign a successor inside the organization. The system moves that person’s friends and group relationships and keeps group roles, such as owner. The departing employee cannot take those customer relationships.
Auto join after register?
Yes. Admins can configure auto-create group, auto-join group, and auto-add friend after registration. Auto-create makes a starter group by rule. Auto-join adds the new user to a chosen business group or all-hands group. Auto-friend connects them with people such as a mentor or account owner. Admins set the rules in the console, and they can run when someone registers after joining by node search.
How does translation work?
Online translation is sold by seat as an add-on. You can buy any count up to the server’s seat limit at $100 per seat per month (about ¥700 at 7:1). After purchase, an admin assigns specific users and can reclaim seats when roles change. Assigned users translate a message or a conversation that contains another language.
What are org announcements?
An org announcement is an organization-wide notice an admin sends to every member on the node. It arrives in the member’s announcement inbox. It is meant for policy changes, campaigns, and compliance reminders, without relying on people to forward it. It is separate from an announcement inside one group.
