Security & data

Traffic between the client and the node is protected with TLS. Message content is encrypted at send time. A stolen server TLS certificate still does not reveal the plaintext.

The admin console has four lists. Geo lists limit registration or sign-in by country or region. Registration lists control who can finish sign-up. A group blacklist limits who can enter or disrupt a group. A friend blacklist limits who can form a friend relationship.

The admin console supports cancel, freeze, and ban. Cancel ends the account lifecycle by process. Freeze is a temporary restriction that can be reversed. Ban blocks access. A banned account still occupies a seat in the plan.
